Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data The Monthly Workshop collects, why, and what rights you have. We keep it simple and we only collect what we need to deliver what you bought.

1. Who we are

monthlyworkshop.com is run by TRIDENT MGMT LTD (trading as The Monthly Workshop), company number 15505714, registered at 50 Fairacre Church Road, Isleworth, England, TW7 4PJ ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

2. What we collect

  • Details you give us: name, email address, phone number and anything you type into a form, survey or message.
  • Purchase details: what you bought, when and how much. Card details are handled by our payment processor (e.g. Stripe) and never stored by us.
  • Usage data: pages visited, device, browser, approximate location and how you got here, collected through cookies and similar tools.
  • Community and call data: what you post in our community and, if you join a live call, your name, image and voice in any recording.

3. Why we use it (and the legal basis)

  • To deliver your purchase and give you access to the product, community and live calls (contract).
  • To take payment, issue receipts and handle refunds (contract and legal obligation).
  • To send service messages such as access details and call reminders by email or SMS (contract / legitimate interests).
  • To send marketing about our other products and events (consent or legitimate interests; you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To measure and improve our site and adverts, including advertising pixels from Meta, Google and similar (consent, through our cookie settings where required).
  • To keep records for tax, accounting and legal reasons (legal obligation).

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the business, under contracts that protect it. These include our website and CRM platform (HighLevel), payment processors (e.g. Stripe, PayPal), our community platform (Skool), video, email and SMS providers, video-call software (e.g. Zoom), and advertising and analytics platforms (e.g. Meta, Google). We may also share data if the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

5. International transfers

Some providers are based outside the UK and EEA (for example in the US). Where this happens we rely on approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

6. How long we keep it

We keep customer and purchase records for up to 6 years after your last purchase for tax and legal reasons. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is kept in line with each provider's settings.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the site and checkout work, and optional analytics and advertising cookies to understand and improve our marketing. Where required, optional cookies are only set with your consent. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings.

8. Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, which are run by Meta Platforms, Inc. and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. To do this we use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API. These tell Meta when you visit our pages, register, or buy, so we can measure our ads, stop showing you ads for things you've already bought, and show relevant ads to you and people like you.

  • Meta may receive information such as the pages you visit, actions you take, your browser and device details, IP address, and (in scrambled, "hashed" form) your email address or phone number.
  • We may upload hashed customer details to Meta to create Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences. Meta matches them against its own users and deletes anything that doesn't match.
  • Meta uses this data under its own privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
  • You can control the ads you see on Facebook and Instagram at facebook.com/adpreferences, opt out of interest-based ads at youronlinechoices.com, or ask us not to share your details with Meta by emailing [email protected].

9. Your rights

Under UK GDPR (and the EU GDPR where it applies) you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, take a copy of it, and withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), though we'd appreciate the chance to fix it first.

10. Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections and limited access to keep your data safe. No system is completely secure, so please keep your own login details private.

11. Children

Our products are for adults running a business. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the date it was last updated.
